The Problem:

A client who adopted Businertia's Midsourcing service struggles to balance the need to secure critical data with the need to make data available for presentation purposes.  The media team had thought they were using best practices storing data locally on 2 redundant laptops.  The laptops were not syncing properly and the main laptop was starting to show signs of fatigue.

Midsourcing delivers:

The Wisconsin based client had assumed that the best way to handle media files was to store them locally so they would perform better for presentation purposes.  Businertia as part of a midsourcing service created a test plan to accommodate all of the best practice objectives and test multiple options to identify which option best suited the business.

The Result:

After reviewing the continuity requirements of the system and the vendor requirements of the media management application Businertia assisted the client in eliminating practices that were not consistent with the objectives defined including their current practice of storing data locally.  Through dialogs with users, the vendor and management Businertia was able to help create a process and configure their infrastructure to support the process.  While outsourcing focuses on finding one way to accomplish something midsourcing seeks to find the best way accomplish something.  By helping the client meet key objectives Businertia decreases the emergency response foot print of the client which provides mutual benefit for both organizations.
