Businertia announced today that it is negotiated the terms of a partial asset purchase of AccountablIT. The agreement allows Businertia the ability to use the AccountablIT and Lumenavision brand among other things. AccountablIT, known for its flat rate IT service, will discontinue its IT service to clients effective September 1st, 2008.
Businertia will incorporate the non time based pricing model into its midsourcing agreements. The pricing model will enable Businertia to continue evolving its midsourcing service model as a legitimate alternative for small businesses considering hiring an IT person on staff. Midsourcing as an alternative to traditional outsourcing (time and materials) will now control costs as well as hiring someone on staff while controlling "knowledge capital management" often cited as a value for outsourcing.
Small Businesses stand to benefit greatly because the controlled and documented nature of a midsourcing agreement delivers consistent results and the new pricing model will compliment consistent service with predictable pricing.
