Businertia today announced that it has achieved a milestone in the development of its midsourcing service model. As part of a continuous improvement model for servicing small businesses Businertia had set a milestone to spend less than an hour onsite and limit interruption time for a client to under 30 minutes for workstation migrations.
As part of a midsourcing service clients are offered life cycle management services to retire old equipment and install new equipment in its place. As part of reaching this milestone the process requires that the workstations once installed onsite require no follow up onsite action, are installed and successfully operational for its purpose without missing applications. Additionally the systems must have been properly documented and all client information is migrated as well.
This milestone was achieved when Businertia was asked to replace 3 workstations for a client. This client had been a midsourcing client for less than a year and was requesting this service as part of their fixed monthly IT service fee from Businertia. The machines were ordered, documented and prepared for installation. After business hours, Businertia successfully installed the workstations onsite and left the client location in under 30 minutes. Subsequent work was performed remotely and the systems were tested and approved by the client the following work day.
This milestone was a critical step for the midsourcing service model as it begins to separate itself from traditional managed services and technology consulting service models. Businertia is committed to making this process more efficient and less intrusive for clients and will continue to evolve its process to meet the needs of technology dependent businesses.
